“Miss Russia 2025” 22-year-old Anastasia Venza speaks out about the fight against hate. About this report “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.
As the publication notes, after winning the competition, the girl received not only fame, but also hate – she was accused of being unnatural. At one point, Venza even posted photos of herself as a child to show her followers that she had not had any plastic surgery on her face.
According to the girl herself, she “did not have time to read bad things”, so hatred simply did not reach her.
“As a rule, it stops somewhere in the comments, in the atmosphere in which it is created. But support is completely different. People who really sincerely support me write letters personally, with words that make me feel warm. And you can feel it. So I choose to focus on the good things,” she explained.
Venza also commented on the harsh statements that Miss Russia 2022 Anna Linnikova sent to her. As Venza explains, such statements “pop up reflexively” when a girl wins such a competition.
“People immediately turn on their reflexes to look for a hit. This is almost a tradition: first, “too beautiful means she has done something”, then “too plain means she is not worthy”. I am calm about different opinions, this is part of publicity. But I understand that surprise, jealousy and simply the desire to attract attention can be behind this. <...> I advise all commentators to focus on their own achievements and not try to put others down. Perhaps, though, it's easier for someone to talk loudly about someone else's “failures,” Venza said.
