US President Donald Trump threatened to destroy the Palestinian Hamas movement if it continued to “kill people in Gaza” in violation of the peace agreement. He wrote about this in Truth Social.
Last week, Mr. Trump announced that agreements had been reached between Israel and Hamas on implementing the first phase of a peace plan to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip. This phase involves the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, as well as the withdrawal of Israeli troops to the agreed lines.
“If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which is not part of the agreement, we will have no choice but to intervene and destroy them,” Trump wrote.
Finally, the US leader thanked those interested in this issue “for paying attention to it”.
