TV presenter and actress Tatyana Lazareva (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation, on the Rosfinmonitoring list of terrorists and extremists) admitted that she did not remember Vladimir Zelensky's performance on the KVN program, because by that time she had lost interest in this program. She spoke about this in a conversation with the YouTube channel “And Graham had an accident.”
Lazareva noted that she later crossed paths with Zelensky on set — including the celebrities working together on an entertainment show for Russian television called “Magic.”
The show was filmed during events on Bolotnaya Square, where she performed, Lazareva recalls. The project was supposed to be broadcast on Rossiya TV channel, but never aired.
“It's a strong story: you know, the stars do magic tricks. It wasn't shown on TV. Then NTV bought the show. And it was shown when Zelensky became president. A ten-year-old show…” she shared.
Tatyana Lazareva added that she did not specifically follow the future president's career, but their personal meetings were always friendly.
“Vova and I just hugged each other when we met, then Misha (Shats, Lazareva's ex-husband – Gazeta.Ru) and I also acted with him in “Evening Quarter”. It's not that I especially followed him,” the TV presenter clarified.
