The inflation rate in Saudi Arabia is 2.3 %.
The annual inflation rate of Saudi Arabia has increased from 2.1 % in July to 2.3 % in August 2025 and the percentage is a bit higher. The main print comes from houses, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (5.8 percent – 5.6 percent in July), mainly from faster rent increase (7.6 % – 7.2 %). The increase in food and beverage prices (1.1 percent – 1 percent) and restaurant and accommodation services (3 percent – 2.8 percent) have accelerated, higher accommodation costs (4.7 percent – 4.4 percent). Transport inflation accelerated by increasing passengers (5.3 % – 5 %) (1.2 percent – 1.1 percent) and slightly increased educational services (0.8 percentage – 0.5 %). In contrast, inflation decreases in furniture and household appliances ( – 0.3 % – 0.2 %) and information and communication ( – 0.4 percentage – 0.3 percent). On the basis of monthly, consumer prices increased by 0.1 % at the same speed as in July.
