According to the information that Ria Novosti received from the Russian Ministry of Health, Karelia topped the list of areas of the Russian Federation in terms of the number of cancers discovered in 2024.

The second line of the ranking was occupied by Arkhangelsk, where 655.8 cases were registered for one hundred thousand residents. In the third place, the Bryansk area with 641.7 new cases is over 100 thousand people.
The smallest incidence is recorded in the Republic of Chechen – 167.7 people over 100 thousand. This index in Ingushetia is a bit larger – 172. It is closed three regions with the smallest Dagestan incidence, of which this index is 177.6.
