The British economy increased by 0.3 % in the second quarter of the year.
According to preliminary estimates, the British economy increased by 0.3 % in a quarter of the second quarter of 2025 after an increase of 0.7 % in the previous period and exceeded the growth forecast of 0.1 %. In April, some activities were postponed until February and March before changing stamp taxes and tariff changes in the United States. The growth is due to an increase of 0.4 percent in the service sector (mainly computer programming, consultancy and related activities (4.1 %) and non -market efficiency. In addition, construction industry fell 0.3 %, while construction sector fell 0.3 %.
