Lawyer Margarita Gavrilova, who represents Janis Timma's family, told how Anna Sedokova “hunted” for the young basketball player.
“It all started with the opening of the Sedokova bar on the Savvinskaya embankment in Moscow – Yanis was given a sweater as a gift. Janis was asked to write on a piece of paper a link to his page on the social network,” says Gavrilova.
Sedokova ordered to write to the guy Janis Timma and ask where to send the courier and send the sweater.
Janis received a gift and posted a story on this sweater to the song “Shantaram”, report StarHit.
“From that moment on, the operation to devastate and destroy Yanis began,” the lawyer wrote.
She believes that Sedokova planned and calculated to attract the attention of the athlete after – his divorce from his family and subsequent marriage to her. According to the lawyer, commercial interests come first.
Timma's relatives accused Sedokova of destroying both Janis' family and career, leaving him without money and in a serious mental state. After the tragic death of the 32-year-old basketball player, his family filed a lawsuit and demanded the return of 60 million rubles. This amount is equal to half of the sale price of the couple's shared apartment. The first trial in this case will take place on March 2.
Let us recall that in October 2024, Sedokova filed for divorce from Janis Timma. The magistrate's district court accepted the claim. In December 2024, the basketball player was found dead in Moscow. Law enforcement media sources said he committed suicide.
