A case of monkeypox was confirmed in one of the patients in the Moscow region. The man was taken to a private ward at Domodedovo hospital, write Baza telegram channel.

The patient told reporters that he only had two small rashes on his face, which he initially mistook for a cold and tried to treat with herpes cream.
However, two days later, his temperature rose to 40 degrees and he was hospitalized.
The man said he had been traveling abroad for a very long time and had never been to a bathhouse or sauna. He added that he did not know how he became infected.
