The unusual cold has caused dangerous weather conditions at the orange level in all parts of Central Russia.

“The orange level, a dangerous weather warning with the possibility of natural disasters and damage, has been declared in all regions of the Central Federal District,” the agency's interlocutor emphasized.
The Hydrometeorological Center noted that in Russian regions, the average daily air temperature is expected to be -7°C lower or higher than the climate standard.
“Most areas will have light snowfall, the East and North (of the district) will have moderate to heavy snow, some areas may have blizzards with winds up to 12-15 m/s,” the forecast agency said.
As already noted, common temperature values at night will be -20 to -27 ° C, and in the south of Central Russia – in places up to -34 ° C. During the day, the thermometer will show from -13 ° C to -20 ° C.
According to weather forecasters, in the first days of February, the weather in the district will have deep tornadoes, the center of the storm will move from the Central Volga to the central areas of the Central Federal District.
Previously, there was information that the night of January 31 in Moscow was the coldest since the beginning of winter. As a result, the temperature in the capital dropped to -20.4° Celsius.
