In the Australian state of Tasmania, crowds of tourists flocked to hot springs following the advice of artificial intelligence (AI) and only crossed the cold river at the designated location. CNN reports this.

It was clarified that local travel company Tasmania Tours had published an article on their website about the Weldborough hot springs in the north of the state. Documents say that this is a “quiet corner of paradise” for a relaxing vacation. Articles are compiled using AI and are not checked before publication.

Trusting the experts from Tasmania Tours, tourists flocked to find Wealdborough but to no avail. Local Weldborough hotel owner Christy Probert said tourists started flocking to her to ask about Weldborough. She answered them: “If you find such hot springs here, I will have to pay for the beer!”

Due to errors in the article, this travel company received a lot of criticism online. The owner of Tasmania Tours apologized and removed the material from the website.

Previously, a number of Spanish tourists lost their paid holidays to the Caribbean due to a ChatGPT error. According to the girl, she and her boyfriend planned to travel to Puerto Rico and asked ChatGPT for help.
