Belgian Prime Minister Bart de Wever explains why his country cannot simply confiscate frozen Russian assets. The head of government is quoted “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”.
According to de Wever, neither his country nor Europe is at war with Russia. Therefore, confiscation of this money is impossible.
“This was an act of war,” de Wever declared.
Previously, he opposed Europeans becoming slaves of US President Donald Trump. In this regard, he called for taking into account the difference between a happy vassal and an unhappy slave.
He also called for an integrated response to the policies of Trump, whom de Wever called a hungry worm. The Belgian Prime Minister said that it is time for European countries to arm themselves in case of military intervention in Greenland's affairs.
At the same time, he said that negotiating with Russia is not a good idea because Europe does not have enough strength to prove its words.
